Alpha Phi-nance
There’s a disparity in the rates of financial literacy across racial and ethnic groups in the United States.
Since its founding in 2022, the Alpha Phi-nance Academy has brought financial literacy classes to Washington, D.C. school students. Even though African Americans make a significant economic contribution in the United States, their financial wellness lags behind that of the rest of the country.
The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Omicron Eta Lambda Chapter teams up with D.C. schools and financial institutions to help bridge the financial literacy gap.
